MOVE’s Annual Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week
MOVE will hold its Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week from November 12 through November 20 with a variety of events on campus. Check out the poster for a full list of events!
The National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week is a week of programming & advocacy where people come together across the country to raise awareness about hunger and homelessness. Several MOVE programs including FEED, Cook N’ Food, Cause for Paws, COTS Family Friends, Civil Rights Alliance and Habitat for Humanity are offering an array of donation drives, tabling, and volunteer opportunities for students to participate in while learning more about how food insecurity & homelessness affects the state of Vermont & our community.
MOVE Program Spotlight: COOK n Food, Cause for Paws, and COTS donation drives. Donation boxes are located in front of the MOVE board and some are in the Chapel and Dion. Shelf stable foods, grain-free/limited ingredient dry animal food, Iams dry kitten food or Fancy Feast wet food, and NEW winter gloves, NEW shampoo/conditioner, and more. Check the boxes for what to donate!
Stop by the MOVE Bulletin Board in the coming days for more information and to sign up for events!
